  • Sterling Equipment is family owned and operated, and has been since 1983! Currently, we are a 3rd generation family business.

  • All of our products are designed, fabricated, welded, and powder coated by us in Umatilla, Florida. We take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our products.

  • Sterling Equipment was founded in 1976 by William “Bill” Sterling Redmond. He started out in Orlando, Florida where he made grille guards at his gas station. Demand for his guards grew, and then Sterling Equipment was born!

  • Our team may be small, but our standards for quality are very big. Each product that we make is checked for quality every step along the way. Every person involved in the construction of our products cares deeply and wants to create the highest quality truck accessories possible.

Ordering Process

  • Contact us and get a quote! We will ask for the following:

    • Year, Make, Model of your vehicle

    • Product you would like

    • Cab style and bed length, if necessary

  • Once you decide to place the order, we will send you a sales order confirmation via email. We will request that you reply with a “Good to go!” if everything is correct.

  • Once the “Good to go!” is received, we will send you a payment link for a 50% deposit. Once the payment is received, we add your order to the schedule to be made.

  • Over the next few weeks, your product will be individually handcrafted and powder coated.

  • Once your product is complete, you will receive an email from us that includes your invoice and another payment link.

  • Once payment is received, your custom made product will be shipped to you (or picked up, or installed). Enjoy!
