History

From his gas station in Orlando, Florida in the early 70's, William "Bill" Sterling Redmond (pictured) began fabricating and selling steel truck accessories. Soon enough in 1976, the demand for his creations grew, and then Sterling Equipment & Manufacturing Co., Inc. was born!

In 1983, Peter Rogers became the owner of Sterling Equipment. For several decades, Peter and two of his sons operated and expanded Sterling Equipment, introducing new products and styles. As of 2023, the title of Owner has been passed on to Peter's oldest son, Wade. Today Sterling Equipment is on its 3rd generation of family operation with Wade, his daughter Jenna, son-in-law Ryan, and wife Lou.
